I am passionate about words. Because without them, how would I tell you anything? Maybe through music or math but words are the tools that I was given.

To you, the gift of words. I am not implying that you will be good. I am saying you will be compelled.

Words will always be what you find most urgent.

And language. I love it. It’s so fierce. Some people think it’s money but it’s language that can get you anything. It’s language that can make you lose it all.

And love. I’m passionate about love. It’s the glue, the connective tissue, the conductor, the thread. It’s what strings it all together, what covers everything in glitter, why it all looks resplendent even when it can feel so dark.

It’s the shimmer, the shimmer that I want to tell you about the most and I don’t know if I ever will be able to faithfully convey it, but it’s the fact that this is what I choose to die trying to do that confirms that yes. It’s this.
